Practice Nurse

Works 4 days a week at RPC East
I started my career in the NHS in 2007 after completing a health and social care course at Chesterfield College. I started as a health care assistant in learning disability services.
In 2009 I commenced my nurse training at the University of Derby. Since qualifying in 2012, I have worked in various areas including a stroke unit, school age vaccination team, A&E and now practice nursing. I have completed additional training along the way, some including advanced life support, mentorship and the general practice nurse degree.
I’ve had a break to have my second child, but plan to work my way through the various long term condition courses and non medical prescribing. I love being a nurse. In particular, the positive impact that we can have on people’s lives.
