Dr Rob Earl

MBBS (London1998), BSc

Doctor

Works 4 days a week at RPC West

I graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine in 1998. After graduating I returned to my roots to undertake my junior doctor training, working in Chesterfield and Sheffield before completing my GP training in Rotherham. Prior to taking up my position at Ashgate in November 2021 I had been a GP at a similarly sized practice in Swallownest for 18 years.

I am interested in all aspects of medicine which is why I was drawn to general practice. Having worked for many years in general practice I have become a big advocate of the family doctor role and the continuity of care that can be provided to patients from childhood to older age.

Over recent years I have developed a particular interest in how lifestyle has an impact on general health and well-being. I try to practice what I preach on this front, enjoying swimming, cycling and running and taking part in the odd triathlon.
