Mel Bryan

Pharmacy Technician

Works 5 days a week at RPC West

I began my Pharmacy career in 2008 working for Lloyds Pharmacy. There I completed my training to become a Pharmacy Technician and later completed my Accuracy Checking qualification. My main role was supplying medication to patients on multi dose systems and in Nursing Homes.

In 2018 I went to work at The Michael Carlisle Centre in Sheffield, a Mental Health Trust, to gain more varied experience in both a hospital and Mental health Pharmacy setting. While at the trust I became a volunteer for an inpatient reading group.

I joined Royal Primary Care in August 2019. I support the RPC team with medication queries and medication reviews. I enjoy working in Primary care as a Technician as it is a very patient focused role.

Outside of work I enjoy walking in the Peak District.
