Doctor

Works 3 days a week at RPC East

I graduated from Leeds University in 2002, initially training in Emergency Medicine before deciding to pursue a career in General Practice. I finished my GP training in 2010 and worked in South Yorkshire before moving to Royal Primary Care in 2021.

I am very involved in medical education having been training GPs since 2005. I was previously a Training Programme Director with the Chesterfield and Derbyshire Dales GP training scheme. I supervise medical students and clinical pharmacists at the surgery. I am also a GP appraiser and do some coaching / mentoring with newly qualified GPs.

My clinical interests are diabetes, joint injections and minor surgery.

Outside of work I am keen cyclist and runner, having completed several marathons and cycling races.
