I studied Medicine in Seville (Spain) where I am originally from and finished my degree in 2011. I started my training as a GP in 2012 in Seville, being awarded my full GP license in 2016. After becoming fully qualified, I started working in a small village as a rural doctor for 3 months. Then I left my country to move to the UK to pursue better working conditions and to be able to grow personally and academically. I have been practising as a GP in Chesterfield area since 2017 and I have been a part of Royal Primary Care since April 2018 as a Salaried GP.

I am really interested in Rare and Genetic diseases, which is why I am undertaking currently a MSc in Genetics to build up my skills in this area. I would like to become a GPwSI in Genetics and I am the Genetics / Research lead at RPC. As well, I really like paediatrics and respiratory diseases.

I am the principal investigator at the research unit based at Ashgate.
